Privacy Policy
ClipBridge · Last updated 28 July 2026
The short version
ClipBridge syncs your clipboard between your own devices. We do not collect, sell, or profile your data. We cannot read what you copy — everything is end-to-end encrypted on your device before it ever leaves it.
What we don’t collect
- No account, name, or sign-up is required to use ClipBridge.
- We do not have access to the contents of your clipboard. Clips are encrypted with a key derived from your pairing code, which never leaves your devices. Our relay server only ever sees encrypted bytes it cannot decrypt.
- We do not use advertising, analytics that identify you, or third-party trackers.
What is processed, and why
- Encrypted clips in transit. To pass a clip from one of your devices to another, encrypted data briefly travels through our relay server. It is not stored long-term and cannot be read by us.
- Push notifications (iPhone). If you enable notifications, Apple’s Push Notification service delivers alerts. The clip content in a notification is encrypted and decrypted on your device; Apple and we see only that “a clip arrived.”
- Waitlist email (optional). If you enter your email on our website, we store it only to send you a launch or beta invitation. You can ask us to delete it anytime.
Data retention & deletion
Encrypted clips are relayed in real time and not retained. To remove a waitlist email, or ask any privacy question, email support@clipbridge.me and we’ll handle it promptly.
Children
ClipBridge is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date above.
